Pulmonary Lymphangioleiomyomatosis: A Case Report

Abstract

|
The purpose of this report is to describe the radiographic and CT findings of a case of biopsy-proved pulmonary llymphangioleio-myomatosis(LAM) with review of previous articles. Chest radiographs showd diffuse increased interstitial lung markings
in
both lower lung with right sided pneumothorax. The CT scan typically showed numerous thin-walled cystic air spaces distributed throughout the both lungs. Pathologically the patients was diagnosed as a pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis
